Bio's
 Jeff |
Jeff is the primary songwriter and lyricist for The
Morning Riders. He started as a drummer at 14. He gigged in various places in upstate NY. By the time he was 16, Jeff was giging extensively in New York City and joined a recording group, Barry and the Tidal Waves. He played all different genres, making him a versitile drummer. He met Mark Bells (later Mark Ramone, drummer for The Ramones), which expanded his horizon's. In 1978, Jeff took up the guitar and learned to play, tutored by his mentor, Rocky. In 1989 he join the band Blue Rose with Rocky and bassist Bobby T. In 2012, Jeff and Rocky started the band Morning Riders. After Rocky passed suddenly in 2019, Jeff moved to Florida. Here he met Stevie G., leader of the Dlinkwents. Jeff replaced Michel, (who passed in 2020) as guitarist and vocalist. Jeff is also a member of the Dlinkwents and Carole Klass's group. Stevie G. is the
bassist/keyboardist and sometimes rhythm guitarist for the
Morning Riders. He joined the band leader, Jeff in 2021. His music career started with Strych-Nine in 1991. In addition to that he played bass for Holes In The Road for 25 years. After Strych-Nine's retirement in 2013, Stevie G. started the Dlinkwents. With this band he is the primary songwriter, lyricist, bassist, keyboardist, some rhythm and lead solo guitar. He is also a member of Carole Klass's group. |
 Howie |
Howard joined the Morning Riders in 2020. He is mostly into the blues, although his style lends itself to the eclectic music of this band. His past experience was just solo work for himself. He has grown with the band, recording and playing live. His solo work stands out as does his lead guitar. He also adds a dimension to the rhythm, with Jeff. He is also a member of The Dlinkwents and Carole Klass |
 Carole |
Carole joined the Morning Riders in
2022 as backing vocalist. In her first performance she
sang "It's Love" and "Morning Rider" off the Thank The
Lord album. Carole is a versatile singer, keyboard player, song writer, actress and dancer. She started in children's music on Broadway and continued in Pittsburg as a young woman. Carole makes music come alive and visa versa. She loves making people happy with the songs she sings. She adds soul to the music and sings from the heart. Carole is also a member of the Dlinkwents and is currently working on her own (Carole Klass) cd project, I Dream In Color, which will be on the Raye Records website in the future. |
